Splays Cookie Notice

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used by Splays Digital Ltd (company number 17357759) ("Splays", "we", "us") across the Splays platform and the splays.co.uk marketing website. We keep this deliberately short and honest.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics profiling.
1. The Splays admin area
When a club administrator signs in to manage their screens, we set a single strictly necessary session cookie. It:
- keeps the administrator securely logged in while they work;
- is set
httpOnlyandsecure(it cannot be read by scripts and is only sent over HTTPS); - does not track you across other websites and is not used for advertising.
Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the login to function, it does not require separate consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
The public kiosk display does not require visitors to log in and does not set tracking cookies.
2. The splays.co.uk marketing website
The marketing website loads Google Fonts to display our brand typeface. When your browser requests these fonts, it connects to Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not use this for tracking, and we set no advertising or analytics cookies on the marketing site.
(If we ever self-host our fonts, or add any analytics, we will update this notice and — where required — ask for consent first.)
3. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent the admin login from working, but will not affect the public kiosk display.
4. Changes and contact
If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future (for example, analytics), we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
